List of Certified MFI Technical Service Providers

AEMFI in partnership with Frankfurt School of Finance and Management introduced a co-branded microfinance (MFI) technical service providers certification programme in November 2018.

Through this programme, AEMFI aims to fill the capacity gap in the microfinance sector. In the first round of the programme, more than fifteen technical service providers (TSPs) have attended the certification courses and successfully completed the training in April 2019. The certified TSPs started delivering trainings to employees of microfinance institutions.

Has more than 28 years of experience in implementing livelihood development strategies, including the PSNP program, across Ethiopia.

Has more than 17 years of proven experience in accounting, auditing and consultancy services in financial and business organizations.
Mr. Debebe Yilma
BA in Accounting, ACCA certified
Has more than 17 years of experience in rural finance, agri-business and business development support.
Mr. Dereje Legesse
Masters in Microfinance, MSc in Agricultural Economics
Has more than 27 years of practical work in the field of Agricultural and financial sector development.
Mr. Feleke Borga
MA in Agricultural Economics
Worked at the central bank for more than 20 years. Out of the 20 years, he worked for 6 years as senior examiner and supervisor for microfinance institutions.
Mr. Gebeyaw Ayichile
Masters in Microfinance
Worked as a Management lecturer and program coordinator for more than 9 years at a public university; more than 3 years of experience as planning and development manager in a microfinance institution.
Mr. Getachew Dinsa
MSc in Development Evaluation and Management, MBA
More than 20 years of experience in financial and business advisory to various business organizations, associations and NGOs.
Mr. Habteselassie Hagos
MBA, Certified Management Consultant, Certified Microfinance Trainer and Consultant
30 years of job experience, 18 years in microfinance institutions in various levels of managerial positions including branch manager, general manager and deputy manager level.
Mr. Hailu Letta
MBA- Financial Management, Certified associate trainer for ITC ILO Making Microfinance work training,
Worked in microfinance institutions for more than 20 years, in various management levels including branch manager and risk and compliance management.
Mr. Samuel Nebro
MBA
Worked in microfinance institutions for over 11 years in various senior positions, including as operational officer and general manager. He has also several years of experience in accounting and financial positions in government offices.
